Churches and chapels

Malta’s religious tradition goes back to 60 AD when St Paul was shipwrecked on our islands, who takes all credit for introducing us to Christianity. No wonder we take pride in over 70 parish churches and 300 wayside chapels, a visual manifestation of faith which prompts me to paint these charming buildings.
