Looking down from a plane, one cannot help think that Malta lacks the undulating meadows which characterise the countryside of larger nations. Yet it is that ruggedness which captivates me, because it is so different. It is unfortunate that more unspoilt land is being sacrificed for development, which motivates me to record that which might not be with us in future.
